ITFA tea farmer Akihiro “Akky” Kita from Kyoto Obubu Tea Plantations says, “Try our teas!”

By subscribing to the Global Tea Tasters Club, you will receive tea from ITFA tea farms 6 times per year. Each time, we will select a different region to feature and as we grow in tea farm members, so will your tea experience.

Your tea will also be accompanied by info about the tea and the tea farms themselves.

To know where your tea is coming from, who has grown and produced it, to taste the difference in teas from around the world…what could be better?

Benefits

• Tea: Minimum of 150 grams of tea in each shipment (actual amount may vary)
• Frequency: Shipment every even month (6 times per year)
• Info on each tea farm and each tea including suggested steeping methods
• Video Greetings: The ITFA will also be working with farmers to provide short video greetings available only for GTT Club members. Those GTT Club members who are not already registered members on ITFA will be automatically registered to the website
• Supporting ITFA activities: Member subscription funds will be used to enhance understanding between tea farmers and tea lovers by translating and providing market insight.
  The funds raised through this service will be utilized by the ITFA to both translate information about farmers (including farmer blogs) as well as educate farmers about consumers around the world. The aim of this effort is to bring tea lovers closer to the farmers by sending them samples of the tea leaves, and to bring farmers closer to tea lovers by providing market insight into consumer markets in different cultures and regions.

(Shipment at the end of each shipment month. Subscribe by the 20th of a shipment month to receive shipment.)

2011 October: Taiwanese tea farms
2011 December: Indonesian tea farms

Monthly Payment

3800 yen for the first two months, 1900 yen each following month. Automatically renews until you decide to cancel your subscription.

Annual Payment

20,000 yen per year (savings of 2280 per year). Automatically renews until you decide to cancel your subscription.
